Cracks was an experimental project in which I got participants to record in private a self-lead interview about the topic of trauma, such as discussing their experiences and how they believe it has impacted their identity. These interview recordings were then data-moshed and combined with their portraits as to visually show this trauma. During and after editing the private recordings were never listened to by anyone, and once the images were created all recordings were destroyed to preserve participants privacy.
